Quality Control Specialist

We are seeking a Quality Control Specialist to join our team at Layman Distributing. As a Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting thorough examinations of all products to determine their quality and identifying areas for improvement to increase efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough examinations of all products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Conduct and report internal audits and evaluations to identify areas for improvement
- Implement and improve quality control operating procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Identify and resolve customer orders in a timely and efficient manner
- Participate in routine visual inspections to ensure products meet quality standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment to ensure employee safety and well-being
Qualifications:
- Previous work experience in quality control or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
