Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute a comprehensive category strategy for media, advertising, and other marketing expenditures, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee strategic sourcing initiatives utilizing a structured sourcing methodology. Prepare and manage bid packages through RFIs, RFPs, and reverse auctions.
  • Identify innovative solutions to enhance business outcomes, challenging existing requirements to create competitive advantages.
  • Continuously develop a network of qualified suppliers through thorough financial and market analysis.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key marketing stakeholders, ensuring engagement throughout the sourcing process.
  • Collaborate with regional sourcing managers to align with regional business needs and market insights.
  • Monitor savings tracking processes and measure contract compliance to ensure business value is achieved.
  • Negotiate and manage the contract lifecycle effectively.
  • Assist in managing supplier relationships and performance, providing constructive feedback as necessary.
  • Develop and implement transition plans while supporting change management initiatives.
  • Utilize available sourcing tools and technologies for spend analysis, eProcurement, and strategic sourcing activities.
  • Provide support to senior leadership in Procurement Marketing, Sales, and Brand Support as required.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, logistics, finance, engineering, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

Experience:

  • 5 to 7 years of professional experience in sourcing and procurement, with a strong grasp of industry best practices.
  • Expertise in various Marketing & Sales spend categories, including Media, Creative, and Research services.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with corporate Marketing teams and engaging with Marketing leadership.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to identify and quantify business benefits.
  • Experience in a multinational, multicultural environment is advantageous.

Skills:

  • Proactive ownership and urgency in driving results.
  • Ability to lead and influence change amidst complexity.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and familiar with eProcurement and eSourcing tools.
  • Comprehensive understanding of internal procurement processes and external market trends.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
  • Strong relationship-building skills across all organizational levels.
  • Effective negotiation skills.
