Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute a comprehensive category strategy for media, advertising, and related marketing expenditures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Oversee strategic sourcing initiatives, adhering to a structured sourcing methodology. Prepare and manage bid packages through RFIs, RFPs, and other sourcing tools.
  • Identify innovative solutions to business challenges, critically evaluating requirements to create competitive advantages.
  • Continuously develop a pool of qualified and competitive suppliers through thorough financial and market analysis.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key marketing stakeholders, ensuring effective engagement throughout the sourcing process.
  • Collaborate with regional sourcing managers to gain insights into regional business needs and market dynamics.
  • Support tracking of savings initiatives, monitor contract compliance, and evaluate key performance metrics to ensure value delivery.
  • Negotiate and manage the contract lifecycle effectively.
  • Assist stakeholders in managing supplier relationships and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement transition plans while supporting change management efforts.
  • Utilize available sourcing tools and technologies for spend analysis, eProcurement, and strategic sourcing activities.
  • Provide assistance to the Senior Director of Procurement Marketing, Sales & Brand Support as needed.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, logistics, finance, engineering, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is advantageous.

Experience:

  • 5 to 7 years of professional experience in sourcing and procurement, with a strong grasp of industry best practices.
  • Expertise in various Marketing & Sales expenditure categories, including Media, Creative, and Research services.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with corporate Marketing teams and engaging with Marketing leadership.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to identify and quantify business benefits.
  • Experience in a multi-national and multi-cultural business environment.

Skills:

  • Proactive ownership and urgency in driving results.
  • Ability to lead and influence change amidst complexity.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
