This position presents a unique opportunity to contribute to our tax strategy and compliance efforts in a supportive and collaborative setting.

Position Summary: The Tax Manager will play a pivotal role in supervising the preparation and submission of federal, international, and state tax filings. Your expertise in ASC 740 will be essential for ensuring precise reporting and adherence to tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the preparation and submission of federal, international, and state tax filings.
  • Ensure full compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of tax provisions in line with ASC 740.
  • Formulate and execute tax strategies aimed at minimizing tax liabilities while supporting corporate objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external consultants to gather necessary information and resolve tax-related issues.
  • Stay informed on changes in tax legislation and assess their implications for the organization.
  • Assist in tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
  • Provide mentorship and support to junior staff and other departments on tax-related matters.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • CPA certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a Big 4 firm and/or public company, with a focus on federal, international, and state tax filings.
  • Strong understanding of ASC 740 and its application.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
