POSITION SUMMARY
Burgess Norton Mfg Co is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Parts Coordinator. This position is pivotal in overseeing the procurement and inventory management of parts from vendors to our maintenance team, as well as providing support in the Tool crib operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Comply with all safety, health, and environmental regulations, ensuring the use of personal protective equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor spare parts usage and inventory levels, initiating reorders as required to maintain optimal stock.
- Engage with suppliers to maintain pricing and adhere to purchasing procedures.
- Compile reports, analyze operational data, and propose enhancements to improve plant efficiency and address maintenance challenges.
- Track and assess key metrics related to maintenance and tooling costs, striving for continuous improvement.
- Lead the daily operations of maintenance repair parts management.
- Ensure sufficient stock of essential maintenance supplies is consistently available.
- Conduct inspections of work areas and inventory.
- Manage the receipt and issuance of spare parts within the maintenance and tool crib.
- Perform daily cycle counts and update inventory records in the system.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities with vendors for maintenance and tool crib needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Focused on quality, safety, and environmental standards, with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
- Basic decision-making abilities and independent judgment.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand or work for extended periods.
