Overview

Hyland is seeking a skilled Financial Systems expert to join our Information Systems team as a Solutions Architect. In this role, you will be tasked with the design and development of innovative solutions within Hyland's financial platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, prototype, and configure business solutions based on insights from product management, stakeholders, and clients, applying extensive experience and best practices.
  • Lead business analysis sessions to gather information regarding business processes and concerns from key internal stakeholders, providing best practice guidance to shape the agreed-upon solutions.
  • Compose comprehensive documentation outlining requirements for the development of business applications.
  • Conduct testing of business applications to ensure optimal performance, resolving any issues and advising business customers on testing methodologies.
  • Support troubleshooting efforts and investigate applications and integrations to identify areas for enhancement.
  • Manage project timelines and scope with oversight from team management.
  • Identify and evaluate enhancements to product functionality; escalate appropriate requests to evolve software capabilities.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding third-party product enhancements or defects.
  • Ensure all solutions are developed and documented for ease of maintenance by the support team.
  • Transition critical information to the application support team to ensure continued successful support of internal business customers.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to fellow team members.
  • Adhere to all corporate and departmental privacy and data security policies and practices.
Qualifications
  • Experience administering Workday, including security configurations, business processes, and integrations with other systems.
  • Proficiency in programmatic capabilities such as Workday EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Studio is essential.
  • Experience with Workday Financials is required; Workday HCM experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with additional financial systems including Avalara, Zuora RevPro, and Salesforce Billing is advantageous.
  • Significant experience in implementing integrations with various business applications.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • Strong investigative skills to gather relevant information and ask probing questions.
  • Proven collaboration skills, successfully applied within teams and across departments.
  • Ability to manage a consistent customer-oriented project workload, effectively communicating project delays and proactively seeking additional work.
  • Willingness to travel up to 5% as required.
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
