Job Summary:

This position is responsible for ensuring the quality of finished products by performing sampling and inspection tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and evaluate finished product final pack-out for conformance to quality specifications.
  • Inspect, document, and provide disposition of acceptable quality products.
  • Communicate with machine operators and supervisors to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Train and communicate with line personnel on quality standards and procedures.
  • Identify and notify appropriate personnel of out-of-control parameters and suspect production.
  • Sample, inspect, and record results for overt attributes.
  • Place out-of-specification product on hold and release reworked product that meets quality requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Good attention to detail and aesthetic sense.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Dependability and punctuality are essential.
  • Ability to work overtime as required.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs and maneuver containers weighing up to 400 lbs.

Working Conditions:

The ideal candidate will be able to stand and walk for long periods, climb ladders and stairs, and meet vision requirements.
