Neonatal Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team at NYU Langone Health. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill newborns and their families in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Bellevue Hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough health histories, physical examinations, and psychosocial assessments of patients and families.
- Prescribe medications, treatments, and therapies as needed, in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current registration as a Professional Nurse in New York and registration as a Nurse Practitioner in New York.
- Certification in Neonatal Nursing or a related field (e.g., ANCC or Board Certification).
- At least five years of clinical nursing experience in neonatal care, with a focus on critical care.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
