FusionWorks is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Social Work Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Social Services Department, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to young people and their families in the Lindau (Bodensee) district.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Independently handle all social service tasks of the youth welfare office according to the Eighth Social Code in a specific area/district of the Lindau (Bodensee) district.
  • Promote young people in their individual and social development to prevent or reduce disadvantages.
  • Fulfill the guardian role in terms of child protection, including and especially during on-call duty.
  • Counsel and support parents and other legal guardians in parenting and/or family conflicts.
  • Participate in proceedings before family courts.
Requirements:
  • Qualification in social work or social pedagogy (FH diploma / bachelor's degree).
  • Good knowledge of the legal foundations of the SGB VIII.
  • Expertise in conversation methods and youth welfare strategies.
  • Goal-oriented action, negotiation skills, persuasiveness, tact, and resilience.
  • Team spirit, helpfulness, and independent and careful work.
