Job Title: Employment Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Employment Specialist to join our team at Work Unlimited. As a key member of our Supported Employment Program, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and challenging behavioral issues to achieve their career goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients in becoming active, wage-earning members of the workforce and provide ongoing support to ensure their success in the workplace.
  • Support clients at community worksites, providing role modeling and guidance in building employment-related skills.
  • Identify the skills and interests of clients and match them with community-based activities, volunteer work, or employment opportunities.
  • Advocate for full community inclusion while empowering clients to overcome barriers to employment and achieve their career aspirations.
