Job Overview

Starcom Consulting Limited seeks a seasoned Product Owner to drive the development and optimization of software products or solutions built on the Salesforce platform. This role requires a strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities, coupled with strong business acumen and excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and development teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define the product vision and roadmap for Salesforce-based solutions in alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and gather feedback from stakeholders to inform product strategy.
  • Elicit and prioritize requirements from stakeholders, including business users, customers, and internal teams.
  • Create and maintain a product backlog, ensuring user stories are well-defined, prioritized, and ready for development.
  • Work closely with Agile development teams, including Salesforce developers, architects, and testers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Provide clear and concise user stories, acceptance criteria, and guidance to development teams throughout the sprint cycles.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on product development progress and gathering feedback.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment between business objectives and product deliverables.
  • Define testing requirements and collaborate with QA teams to ensure thorough testing of Salesforce solutions.
  • Conduct or oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate that delivered features meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Coordinate release planning activities, including feature prioritization, scheduling, and communication.
  • Ensure smooth deployments of Salesforce enhancements and manage any post-release issues or feedback.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and user feedback to identify areas for product improvement.
  • Iterate on product features based on insights gathered from usage data, market trends, and stakeholder input.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Developer credentials preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role, with a focus on Salesforce-based solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions and prioritize effectively.
  • Familiarity with software development tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile management platforms.
