Role Summary:

The Fire Sprinkler Operations Manager is responsible for staying abreast of technological innovations, fostering customer relationships, enhancing service offerings, managing financials, and supervising field service operations. This position is integral in bridging various operational functions within Summit Fire & Security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop field personnel to establish a premier service team. Conduct regular evaluations of field staff and coordinate disciplinary measures with the Service Manager as needed.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of employee time sheets while adhering to payroll schedules.
  • Evaluate and price repair, inspection, and service projects in accordance with the company's pricing policies.
  • Oversee the swift response to service requests and implement effective procedures for managing emergency calls at all hours.
  • Uphold safety protocols, conduct safety meetings, and ensure all necessary safety training is completed.
  • Plan field operations, manage workforce allocation efficiently, and address challenges as they arise.
  • Procure or lease necessary equipment for each project, maintain tools, and regularly monitor tool inventory.
  • Conduct site visits to assess work margins and facilitate communication between clients and field teams.
  • Maintain and service vehicles, keep precise service records, and oversee required vehicle maintenance.

Qualifications:

A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent is required, along with at least 5 years of service-related field experience. Strong leadership and communication skills, as well as familiarity with business intelligence systems, are essential for success in this role.
