The Fire Sprinkler Operations Manager position entails staying abreast of technological innovations, supporting customer relations, enhancing product offerings, managing budgets and profit margins, and supervising field service operations. This role acts as a pivotal connection among various operational facets within Summit Fire & Security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee field personnel to establish a premier service team. Conduct regular evaluations of all field staff and coordinate disciplinary actions with the Service Manager when necessary.
  • Ensure the accuracy of employee timesheet submissions and comply with payroll deadlines.
  • Price repair, inspection, and service projects in accordance with the company's pricing guidelines.
  • Manage timely responses to service requests and implement efficient procedures for addressing emergency calls at all hours.
  • Enforce safety protocols, conduct safety meetings, and ensure that necessary safety training is completed.
  • Schedule field operations, manage workforce effectively, and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Procure or lease necessary equipment for each project, maintain tools, and regularly monitor tool inventory.
  • Visit job sites frequently to assess work margins and facilitate communication between clients and field teams.
  • Maintain and service vehicles, keep precise service records, and oversee required vehicle repairs.

Qualifications:

A High School diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of service-related field experience. Strong leadership and communication skills, as well as familiarity with business intelligence systems, are essential for this position.
