Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Procurement Specialist to join our team at Synergis. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for maintaining optimal customer service levels, efficiently utilizing our inventory assets, and communicating effectively with clients and vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Creating purchase orders to ensure timely replenishment of distribution centers
  • Collaborating with assigned vendors and/or branches to facilitate smooth information and goods flow
  • Maintaining agreed-upon service levels (fill rates) to meet customer expectations
  • Meeting or exceeding inventory turn goals
  • Monitoring vendor performance (fill rate and on-time delivery) and taking corrective action as needed
  • Coordinating returns to vendors for damaged and discontinued merchandise
  • Monitoring inventory at all assigned locations and recommending transfers to eliminate overstock
  • Reviewing missed demand and adjusting inventory to capture future sales
Requirements
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, and ability to run SQL queries
  • Analytical mindset, with ability to gather, analyze, and drive insights from data
  • Excellent communication and team-oriented skills
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Experience with Manhattan's suite of Inventory Replenishment software a plus
  • CPIM certification from the American Production and Inventory Control Society or equivalent a plus
Education and Experience

Undergraduate degree preferred. 2-5 years of Purchasing (Inventory Management) experience

Compensation

The compensation range for this position is $60,000-$70,000 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location)
