Job Title: Solar Energy Project Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Solar Energy Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our project management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all commercial solar projects meet our high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of commercial solar projects, from initial design to final installation, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our design and engineering teams to gather and communicate necessary information, review layouts, and ensure compliance with project specifications while reporting progress to management.
  • Client Relations: Maintain strong relationships with clients and corporate partners, presenting project plans and updates regularly to ensure satisfaction and transparency.
  • Travel: Travel nationally to project sites for meetings, oversight, and quality assurance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: Background in electrical or mechanical engineering and/or solar energy is required, with a willingness to expand knowledge in the other areas. A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a Project Manager role is required.
  • Skills: Strong project management skills, with a focus on quality, detail, budget, scope, and time management. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is required, with a willingness to learn additional design software.
  • Certifications: OSHA-30 certification must be obtained within the first six months of employment. PMP certification is a plus.
  • Personal Attributes: Highly motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
