About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Value Stream Lead to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy Manufacturing Operations Strategy: Develop and implement manufacturing operations strategies, control systems, tools, and metrics to accurately measure progress and drive continuous improvement.
  • Workforce Planning and Forecasting: Plan and forecast workforce needs to ensure optimal resource allocation and productivity.
  • Employee Hiring and Training: Recruit, hire, and train employees to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Area Layout and Flow Management: Design and optimize area layouts and workflows to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Capital Identification and Control of Overhead Expenses: Identify and control overhead expenses to ensure optimal resource allocation.
  • Ensure Compliance with Company Policies and Procedures: Ensure full compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Solve Complex Operational Issues: Analyze and resolve complex operational issues to maintain a cooperative work environment.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Typically require a university degree or equivalent experience and 8 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, and/or engineering or an Advanced degree and 5 years of related experience.
  • Security Clearance: The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Broad Understanding of Circuit Card Design, Quality, and Production Requirements: A broad understanding of circuit card design, quality, and production requirements and a demonstrated ability to continuously improve these processes.
  • Strong Management Skills: Strong management skills including the ability to make decisions with minimal supervision, goal setting, delegation, coaching, and motivating.
  • Knowledge in Assembly, Inspection, and Test Operations: Knowledge in assembly, inspection, and test operations.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), presentation, and influencing skills.
  • High Level of Computer Literacy: A high level of computer literacy / confidence and skill working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and familiarity with Raytheon systems (CMES, SAP, PDM).
  • EVMS Level 2 Certified: EVMS Level 2 Certified.

Salary Range

The salary range for this role is $96,000 USD - $200,000 USD.
