Job Overview
As a Custodial Support Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in designated areas. Your duties will include:
- Dusting and sanitizing surfaces throughout the facility.
- Disposing of waste and recyclables appropriately.
- Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, ensuring supplies are replenished.
- Washing windows, glass doors, and blinds.
- Removing graffiti and performing power washing tasks.
- Cleaning furniture, upholstery, and light fixtures.
- Polishing woodwork and metal surfaces.
- Maintaining stairwells, walkways, and elevators.
- Conducting general housekeeping duties as required.
Essential Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proficiency in reading and writing at a level suitable for the responsibilities of the role.
- The ability to follow both verbal and written instructions to ensure a safe working environment.
- Experience in operating and maintaining custodial equipment and supplies.
- Strong communication skills for relaying information regarding maintenance or safety issues.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of work and professional ethics.
Education and Experience
Applicants should have a combination of training, experience, and/or education that demonstrates the necessary skills for this position.
Compensation
The anticipated hiring range for this position is $16.80 per hour, with a classification range up to $24.21 per hour.
