Senior Electronics Technician

Company: LS Technologies, LLC

LS Technologies, LLC is seeking a Senior Electronics Technician to provide support for their government clientele. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in troubleshooting, installing, and modifying aviation ground electronic systems and related equipment. This position may require travel and physical activities such as climbing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute assembly, installation, integration, and testing of electronic systems
  • Establish and integrate airfield systems that facilitate aviation operations
  • Perform light construction and electrical installations to enhance infrastructure
  • Conduct site surveys and formulate installation strategies
  • Be prepared for travel and climbing as necessary
  • Achieve required climbing certifications

Educational Background

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Formal training in electronics from a recognized institution
  • Preferably completion of a four-year electronics apprenticeship program

Required Qualifications

  • Active Secret Clearance is mandatory
  • Proficiency in audio communication devices, especially within air traffic control settings
  • A minimum of six years of hands-on experience in electronics installation and maintenance
  • At least one year of experience specifically in electronics installation
  • A minimum of two years of experience with Air Traffic Control equipment and systems
  • Formal training in installation tasks, soldering, cable management, and connector repair

Work Conditions

  • Location: Navy - NIWC Charleston, SC
  • Frequent travel required, up to 20% of the time
  • Physical demands include climbing, lifting, mobility, and dexterity
  • Active Secret Clearance is essential
