What role will you play?
As a Program Coordinator, you will oversee the scope, timeline, budget, quality, and client satisfaction of projects throughout their lifecycle, from initiation to closure. Your role will primarily involve effective communication with all project stakeholders, relying on collaboration with team members to execute project activities.
You will be responsible for managing and executing project management functions for all client site initiatives, including budgets and scopes. This position requires you to provide direction to a diverse range of internal and external personnel.
What will your responsibilities include?
Daily tasks encompass project communications, scheduling, creating task lists for technicians, managing deliverables from various departments, and ensuring project completion meets or exceeds client expectations. You will be accountable for delivering systems integration projects on time and within budget while achieving high levels of customer satisfaction. Your primary focus will be on managing projects and maintaining communication with all stakeholders.
As the main point of contact for clients, you will cultivate strong, long-term relationships, managing expectations, communications, and overall satisfaction.
Key Coordination and Communication Tasks:
- Provide clear leadership and ownership for projects, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Coordinate all activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specifications, including engaging stakeholders and leading meetings.
- Facilitate frequent communication among stakeholders and offer support to team members to ensure project success.
- Direct technical and administrative support to project teams and maintain all related project schedules.
- Conduct field verification of prospective work sites and document any issues, keeping all parties informed.
- Manage all documentation and drawings between internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead design reviews to ensure proper documentation and coordinate system programming and final checks.
- Provide a punch-list of remaining tasks post substantial completion and oversee training and project turnover to clients and relevant departments.
Physical Demands: The role may involve exposure to construction site conditions. You will be responsible for your safety and must comply with all safety regulations. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is typically required. You may spend a significant amount of time on your feet and will need to navigate construction sites, which may involve climbing ladders and lifting materials up to 20 pounds.
Travel Requirements: Frequent travel by car and occasional air travel will be necessary. A valid driver's license is required. Local travel to client sites will constitute the majority of travel.
What qualifications are we looking for?
Required Knowledge, Experience, and Skills:
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- In-depth knowledge of electronic security systems.
- A valid driver's license in your state of residence.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a Program Coordinator in commercial construction environments.
- Certification as a Security Project Manager (CSPM).
- Familiarity with Lenel, Genetec, and Avigilon certifications.
Education and Certifications:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required. PMP certification from the Project Management Institute is preferred.
