Job Title: WOCN Clinical Nurse Coordinator

The Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated WOCN Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for coordinating and providing consultative and direct clinical care services for patients with ostomies, fistulae, tubes, dermal wounds, and incontinence care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patient outcomes and identify populations at risk to propose solutions.
  • Provide education services for nursing, medical, and allied health staff and consumers related to ostomies and wounds.
  • Consult with all levels of nursing and physician patient care stakeholders.
  • Assist in research activities aimed at improving clinical services and patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Two years of clinical experience preferred, with leadership or nursing education experience preferred.
  • Licensed in the State of Vermont.
  • CWOCN Certification (or required within 1 year of hire).
  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
Preferred Skills:
  • WOCN clinical nursing knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate care.
  • Knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span.
  • Ability to assess and interpret data regarding the patient's status to determine the appropriate plan of care.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Intermediate Microsoft desktop application skills (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Pay Range:

$35.36 - $56.50
