As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our team of experienced accountants and financial analysts, assisting with various tasks and projects.

Responsibilities
  • Shadowing department staff members to gain a deeper understanding of daily tasks and activities
  • Assisting with financial report preparation, including data entry and record-keeping
  • Preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements
  • Working with bookkeeping software to track and analyze financial information
  • Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity
  • Learning how to work as part of a team to compile and analyze data
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Business, or Taxation
  • Satisfactory completion of introductory accounting courses and a basic understanding of accounting and financial principles
  • Aptitude for math and proficiency with computers
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with QuickBooks and VITA is a plus
  • High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility
  • Detailed-oriented and organized
  • Motivation and strong desire to take on new challenges
Salary

$20/hour
