Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Assistant to join our team. As an integral part of our surgical team, you will work closely with our oral surgeons to ensure the smooth execution of procedures. Your expertise will be invaluable in maintaining a sterile environment, documenting patient care, and engaging in strategic discussions with our surgeons.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including preoperative tasks and post-procedure documentation.
  • Collaborate with our surgeons to ensure seamless execution of procedures, handling advanced equipment with precision and finesse.
  • Engage in strategic discussions with our surgical team to optimize patient care and outcomes.
  • Prioritize patient safety by adhering to strict protocols and maintaining a sterile environment.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • BLS Certification (or completed within 1 month of hire).
  • Strong teamwork and independent work capabilities, demonstrating good judgment and critical thinking.
  • Passion for ensuring safety and exceptional attention to detail, vigilance, and meticulousness.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and superior listening skills, especially in emergency scenarios.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous oral surgery experience is beneficial.
  • DAANCE certification is desirable.
  • Licensed dental assistant status is preferred.
  • Radiology certification is a plus.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year based on location and experience.
