Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Mental Health Clinician to join our team at JFS, Inc. As a key member of our Clinical Services department, you will provide comprehensive social services and activities that support the mental and emotional health of our clients, prospective clients, and community members.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will provide counseling and psychotherapy services to individuals, families, and children, including intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Develop knowledge of DSM V diagnosis and trauma-sensitive treatment modalities with an understanding of various theoretical approaches, group process, and client advocacy.
  • Work effectively with individuals and families experiencing domestic and sexual violence, demonstrating a willingness to address these issues.
  • Possess strong organizational skills, combined with excellent oral and written communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Manage workload independently, maintaining required productivity levels as determined by your supervisor.
  • Maintain client confidentiality at all times and adhere to HIPAA standards when utilizing Microsoft Office, EHR, email, and phone communication systems.

Requirements

  • You must hold a Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • A valid Wisconsin License from the Wisconsin Social Work Examining Board (preferred), Wisconsin Marriage and Family Therapy, or Professional Counseling, or Social Work Examining Board (LCSW, LMFT, LPC) is required.
  • Candidates must be in good standing with their Licensing Board.
  • Third-party billing eligibility is also necessary.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, EHR, and email/phone communication systems within HIPAA standards is expected.

Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $70,000-$90,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
