About You as a Guest Services Coordinator
- Previous experience in a receptionist role within a 4* or 5* hotel is preferred
- Familiarity with Opera software is advantageous
- You should possess a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and confidence in team communication
Key Responsibilities of the Guest Services Coordinator Role
- Demonstrate confidence and pride in ensuring the well-being, satisfaction, and comfort of all guests, establishing a highly personalized service style in line with the luxury country hotel atmosphere.
- Maintain a courteous, helpful, and friendly demeanor towards all guests, confidently using their names whenever possible.
- Uphold high standards in personal appearance and conduct.
- Acquire a solid understanding of all hotel departments.
- Be proficient in all front office equipment, including Opera, Paging Systems, Word, and Email.
- Assist with parking for arriving hotel and restaurant guests' vehicles as needed.
- Be knowledgeable about reservation tasks to provide coverage when necessary, emphasizing teamwork and flexibility.
- Efficiently handle restaurant reservations in the absence of the Restaurant Manager, including availability, pricing, and restrictions.
- Stay informed about all aspects of accommodation and traditional sales areas in food and beverage and other hotel services.
- Document relevant guest feedback, suggestions, and maintenance issues to initiate follow-up with integrity.
- Understand and adhere to the current policies and procedures of the hotel and spa.
- Take ownership of cash handling responsibilities as per cashiering shifts and the Main Safe, while being aware of security matters.
- Ensure proper handover procedures for daily business concerning coverage and cashiering.
- Address any account or restaurant bill queries with confidence, utilizing intuition and integrity to resolve issues.
- Recognize and report complaints or problems to the Reception Manager or Duty Manager, offering assistance with integrity.
- All staff must understand and execute the company's policies and procedures regarding privacy, confidentiality, and data protection.
