We ensure vital access to veterinary services when pets and their owners need it most.

Our veterinarians possess an average of 10 years of expertise in critical care, general practice, wellness, and emergency medicine. We focus on urgent care, addressing issues from gastrointestinal disturbances to minor surgical interventions for non-critical injuries and illnesses. Our multidisciplinary teams are equipped to manage a wide range of situations that arise.

We offer expert-level care, available both day and night, for dogs, cats, and exotic animals.

We are in search of a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to enhance our dedicated team and contribute to delivering exceptional experiences.

Responsibilities / Qualifications:
Job Responsibilities

  • Assist veterinarians with appointments, surgical procedures, and client education in accordance with hospital protocols.
  • Conduct initial assessments of pets' conditions and inform the veterinarian about the purpose of the visit, preventive care due, and client inquiries.
  • Collect and prepare laboratory samples as directed by the veterinarian, including urine, fecal, and ear cytology samples.
  • Promptly notify the veterinarian of laboratory results.
  • Safely and compassionately restrain animals during examinations and procedures.
  • Prepare and organize for surgical procedures while adhering to proper sterile field protocols.
  • Monitor the recovery of surgical patients and communicate updates to pet owners following hospital policies.
  • Accurately prepare and dispense medications as prescribed by the veterinarian, ensuring proper documentation in the pet's medical record and appropriate billing to the client.
  • Understand vaccination protocols within the facility and administer vaccinations under the veterinarian's supervision.
  • Monitor hospitalized pets and carry out treatments as instructed by the veterinarian.
  • Utilize hospital management systems to document medical records and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
Job Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician is required.
  • Availability for a flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to handle stressful situations are essential.
  • While medical procedures and animal handling will be thoroughly trained on the job, excellent communication skills, a sense of urgency, and teamwork are necessary.
  • Dependability, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn are crucial.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.
