Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with managing all aspects of payroll processing and ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws. Additionally, the candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various human resources functions, including employee relations, recruiting, benefits administration, and HRIS maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with processing and managing 60 bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly payroll cycles, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Calculate and process payroll adjustments, bonuses, and deductions and conduct quarterly payroll audits.
  • Stay current on payroll tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Manage benefits enrollment documentation and audit monthly benefit invoices.
  • Assist with employee benefits programs and serve as a point of contact for benefits-related questions.
  • Address and resolve payroll and benefit-related inquiries from employees promptly.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred or equivalent HR/Payroll work experience.
  • Proven experience in payroll processing and human resources functions.
  • Strong understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in HRIS and payroll software; experience with ExponentHR or similar systems is a plus.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
