As a Quality Control Associate Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting tests and analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and products, including chemicals and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API), to assess stability, purity, chemical composition, and other attributes.
  • Adhering to standardized testing methods, documenting results, and communicating the status of test outcomes.

Your key responsibilities will encompass:
  • Setting up, operating, and maintaining laboratory equipment essential for the production of intermediate, raw materials, and finished products for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients and other items as required; completing all related laboratory support tasks.
  • Reviewing peer laboratory data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Gaining experience with HPLC, UPLC, Karl Fischer, UV analysis, NIR, and other analytical techniques, while also training fellow laboratory personnel in these methods.
  • Developing skills to troubleshoot and perform minor maintenance, calibration, and repair of laboratory instruments.
  • Providing insights on investigations (OOS, OOT, invalid assays, and other lab-related non-conformances, including audit observation investigations) and supporting the implementation of relevant CAPAs while monitoring their effectiveness.
  • Executing duties safely and in compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations and guidelines, including FDA, ISO, EPA, OSHA, and DEA, while adhering to all company policies and procedures.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned by site leadership.

Qualifications:
  • A High School Diploma with 3+ years of experience in a Quality Control Laboratory (FDA or USDA regulated environment) -OR- a Bachelor's degree with no prior experience in a Chemistry / Biochemistry / Environmental field (excluding Computer Science) is required.
  • Preferred experience in applying mathematical operations to tasks such as frequency distribution, test reliability and validity determination, variance analysis, correlational techniques, sampling theory, and/or factor analysis.
  • Preferred experience in identifying and defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing scientific conclusions.
  • Familiarity with FDA/EMEA regulatory requirements relevant to pharmaceuticals and medical devices is preferred.
  • Experience in Lab Operations and/or Quality processes/systems in a GMP Lab setting is preferred.
  • Experience with Lab Systems or processes such as eLIMs, TrackWise, Non-conformances, and/or Change Control is preferred.
  • Familiarity with various laboratory equipment, including GC, HPLC, UPLC, and/or Karl Fischer is preferred.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm and 2:00 pm to 12:30 am, including weekends; overtime may be required to support shift operations.
