Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Operations Manager to lead our preventative maintenance efforts and oversee the maintenance team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in maintenance leadership and a proven track record of improving equipment reliability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Maintenance Team
    • Plan, organize, schedule, assign, and oversee day-to-day maintenance work, performing various responsible duties related to the supervision of maintenance activities.
    • Train, supervise, and evaluate the work of employees.
    • Capable of leading a decently sized team of 25+ employees to perform preventative maintenance safely and efficiently.
  • Maintenance Operations
    • Ability to identify, modify, adjust, and repair mechanical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic parts and equipment.
    • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or diagrams.
    • Ability to utilize various power tools, hand tools, gauging, and measuring equipment safely and correctly.
    • Capable of increasing equipment reliability to minimize downtime and improve efficiencies.
  • Procurement and Inventory Management
    • Purchase maintenance materials and outside technical services as necessary.
    • Monitor parts requests to ensure adequate inventory and cost efficiencies are met according to departmental budget.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Assist in the establishment and implementation of a systematic preventative maintenance program.
    • Investigate equipment failures and unexpected breakdowns. Provide corrective actions to improve reliability and performance.
    • Lead Maintenance continuous improvement tasks reporting back to management with status updates.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Technical or engineering background or relevant equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Understanding preventative maintenance procedures and project management is preferred.
  • Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems is preferred.

What We Offer

  • $85,000-100,000 depending on experience.
