Job Summary

The Petrie-Flom Center for Health Law Policy, Biotechnology, and Bioethics at Harvard Law School seeks a skilled Communications Manager to promote and amplify the center's work. This role involves developing strategies for promoting projects, events, and announcements, as well as managing the center's blog, website, and social media accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement communications and marketing strategies to promote the center's work
  • Manage the production of a bi-weekly newsletter and share information externally about events, sponsored research projects, publications, and other activities
  • Write, edit, and proofread written products and publications, as well as support publications from grant partners
  • Collaborate with individuals across the center, Harvard Law School, and the University to promote the center's work
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Five or more years of professional experience in communications, journalism, or a related field
  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience with grant-funded research and high-profile, fluid environments
