Position Overview: DSJ Global is in search of a strategic and seasoned Director of Supply Chain to spearhead our supply chain functions and enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness across all supply chain activities. This role is pivotal in refining procurement processes, managing inventory, overseeing logistics, and nurturing supplier partnerships to guarantee smooth operations and prompt delivery of superior products to our clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Direction: Formulate and implement supply chain strategies that align with organizational goals to boost operational efficiency, minimize expenses, and elevate service standards.
  • Procurement Oversight: Direct procurement processes, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management to secure competitive pricing, quality assurance, and reliability of supply.
  • Inventory Optimization: Establish effective inventory management practices to balance inventory levels while reducing carrying costs and preventing stock shortages.
  • Logistics Management: Supervise transportation, warehousing, and distribution functions to ensure timely product delivery and optimize logistics expenditures.
  • Supplier Engagement: Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with key suppliers, negotiating advantageous terms and swiftly addressing issues to maintain a dependable supply chain.
  • Continuous Enhancement: Propel ongoing improvement initiatives throughout the supply chain, utilizing data analytics and performance metrics to uncover opportunities for efficiency and cost savings.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Risk Mitigation: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and company policies governing supply chain operations. Proactively identify and address potential supply chain risks.
  • Collaborative Efforts: Work closely with various departments, including manufacturing, sales, finance, and quality assurance, to synchronize supply chain activities with overarching business objectives and customer needs.
  • Team Development: Lead and mentor the supply chain team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in supply chain management within the electrical manufacturing sector or a comparable field.
  • A proven history of success in leading and transforming supply chain operations, with clear achievements in cost reduction, process enhancement, and supplier relations.
  • Strong strategic and analytical capabilities, with the ability to utilize data and metrics to inform decision-making and optimize supply chain performance.
