Join Our Team as a Window and Auto Glass Technician
Bring your expertise and make a significant impact. As a member of the Portland Glass team, your daily responsibilities will include:
  • Installing flat and automotive glass in accordance with industry standards.
  • Interpreting blueprints and specifications to understand necessary work details.
  • Adhering to safety protocols for the handling of glass and materials.
  • Safely operating the company vehicle.
  • Clearly and professionally communicating the glass installation process to clients.
  • Completing assignments within designated time frames.
Required Qualifications

Experience:
New hires will receive comprehensive training. Previous carpentry or related experience is required, while prior glass installation experience is preferred.

Skills:

Proficient use of hand tools, carpentry skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities, and a willingness to perform emergency work in all weather conditions.

All selected candidates will undergo a background check and drug screening, in compliance with applicable state laws.

Education:
A high school diploma or GED is required.

Physical Requirements:
Candidates must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Bring your strong work ethic and enjoy job stability.

Compensation:
Competitive salary based on experience.

Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday with some Saturday availability.
