ABOUT THIS POSITION

As a Logistics Operations Specialist, you will oversee and manage all military supplies and equipment. Your responsibilities will include receiving, inspecting, inventorying, loading and unloading, storing, issuing, and delivering various supplies and equipment. Additionally, you will ensure the safe storage and control of weapons and ammunition within designated security areas.

The skills you will acquire align with Inventory Management, Storage Solutions, and Weapons Handling. Furthermore, you have the opportunity to earn up to 9 nationally recognized certifications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Load and Unload: Manage the physical transfer of supplies, equipment, and ammunition.
  • Inventory Management: Track supplies and ensure their availability for operational needs.
  • Security Protocols: Safeguard and oversee weapons and ammunition in secure locations.
  • Documentation: Maintain and update essential supply records, including the Property Book.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of 10 weeks of Basic Training.
  • Completion of 8 weeks of Advanced Individual Training.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Aged between 17 to 34 years.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Adherence to Tattoo Guidelines.
  • No significant legal infractions.
  • No medical disqualifications.
