Job Title: Power and Analog Principal Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Power and Analog Principal Electrical Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Careers. As a key member of our Sensor Power and Analog Design (SPAD) Department, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative power and analog systems for our cutting-edge products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop power conversion and distribution systems for our products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new technologies and designs
  • Lead small teams to success with schedule, budget, and technical execution
  • Present reviews of technical data to program leadership, technical staff, and customer community
  • Manage related risk discussions and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major
  • 8+ years of experience in power system design, power conversion, power distribution, power sub-system design and/or control systems
  • Experience in modeling and simulation using PSPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar computer-based tools
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major
  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Hardware development experience in the Department of Defense (DoD) environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead/manage a technical team
  • Experience generating technical documentation and reports
