Resumen del Trabajo y Calificaciones

El Pharmacy Clinical Specialist es responsable de asistir en la realización de tareas diarias de farmacia, que incluyen, entre otras: la preparación de pedidos de medicamentos, el monitoreo de medicamentos terapéuticos de pacientes, la provisión de información sobre medicamentos, la verificación de medicamentos, mezclas intravenosas y la preparación de medicamentos antes de su distribución.

Lo que harás en este rol:

  • Utilizarás buenas habilidades de resolución de problemas, asegurándote de que se resuelvan los problemas, consultando a otras partes conocedoras según sea necesario.
  • Mantendrás un sólido conocimiento de las políticas del hospital y las regulaciones gubernamentales y dispensarás en consecuencia.
  • Consultarás con médicos y personal de enfermería sobre reacciones de pacientes, errores y quejas.
  • Determinarás y consultarás sobre posibles interacciones de medicamentos.
  • Asistirás con iniciativas de mejora de calidad, inventario y pedidos de productos farmacéuticos.
  • Monitorearás, registrarás y comunicarás según sea apropiado utilizando sistemas de documentación computarizados.
  • Utilizarás el conocimiento de las necesidades específicas de edad de los pacientes en el desempeño de tus funciones y responsabilidades.

Lo que necesitarás como calificaciones:

  • Graduado de una Escuela de Farmacia Acreditada.
  • Licencia en el Estado correspondiente. Certificación de la Junta preferida.
  • Experiencia hospitalaria de un año preferida. Residencia preferida.

Parkridge Medical Center es un hospital de más de 270 camas. Contamos con servicios diagnósticos, médicos y quirúrgicos integrales, incluyendo cirugía cardiovascular y tratamiento del cáncer. Estos servicios incluyen cuidados intensivos, cirugía ortopédica y de columna, y rehabilitación. La instalación incluye un programa de neurocirugía de última generación. Los pacientes también tienen acceso a servicios de OB-GYN y a una Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales de nivel III, así como a centros de tratamiento de salud conductual para niños y adultos.
