Job Summary:

A highly skilled and experienced pharmacist is sought by Medicine Journal to provide exceptional pharmaceutical care to patients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through the provision of appropriate drug therapy and clinical pharmaceutical services.

This will involve reviewing patient orders and charts, interacting with healthcare providers and patients, and staying up-to-date with current trends and new developments in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide pharmaceutical care to patients, including the provision of appropriate drug therapy and clinical services
  • Review patient orders and charts to ensure accurate and effective care
  • Interact with healthcare providers and patients to provide education and support
  • Stay current with industry trends and developments
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements:

  • Current and valid license to practice pharmacy in the state of Tennessee or eligibility for licensure by reciprocation or examination
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's of Science Degree from an American Council on Pharmaceutical Education accredited program
  • Knowledge of general pharmacy practice and pharmaceutical care, with emphasis on hospital practice
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing work conditions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a hospital setting, with knowledge of organizational functions, policies, and regulations
  • Ability to learn and apply new principles and practices
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and support agencies
