Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will be integral to our healthcare team. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting routine laboratory tests essential for diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases. You will oversee laboratory operations and collaborate with a supportive team.

In this role, you will:

  • Perform essential laboratory functions, including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and immunology.
  • Report test findings in accordance with clinic protocols, ensuring timely communication of abnormal results to healthcare providers.
  • Maintain quality control during specimen collection and ensure precise record-keeping.
  • Oversee laboratory equipment, including setup, maintenance, calibration, and sterility testing.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associates Degree or higher preferred.
  • Previous medical laboratory experience is advantageous.
  • Certification as MLT, ASCP, CPT, or AMT is mandatory.
  • State of Florida Medical Laboratory Technician License is required.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. is a prerequisite.
