About the Role

The Lincoln Group Industrial Services is seeking a skilled Estimator to join their team. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in accurately estimating the cost and duration of various projects, ensuring that proposals and contracts are competitive and profitable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
  • Consult with clients, vendors, and internal team members to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
  • Conduct site visits to gather essential information for project estimates.
  • Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and timelines for project completion.
  • Evaluate and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and terms.
  • Maintain and update a database of historical costs to improve accuracy in future estimates.
  • Present estimates and reports to senior management and clients.
  • Monitor and adjust project estimates based on changes in scope, materials, or labor costs.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an estimator in the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and costs.
  • Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to Price and Negotiate.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
