Job Summary:

Intel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Global Government Affairs team as a Director of Manufacturing and Sustainability Policy. This role will play a critical part in shaping and implementing Intel's policy advocacy strategy and programs to address current and future business needs in the areas of manufacturing, environmental sustainability, and climate change.

The ideal candidate will possess deep subject matter expertise in environmental and climate policy, with extensive experience in policy advocacy and a proven track record of leading and influencing regulatory and policy processes. They will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic engagements with government officials, business and regulatory agencies, and key trade associations to advance and protect Intel's interests and policy agenda.

This is a critical role in the GGA Manufacturing and Sustainability team, requiring a strong relationship-builder with the ability to effectively engage and influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels. The successful candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude and a sense of humor, working effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Intel's policy advocacy strategy and programs to address current and future business needs in manufacturing, environmental sustainability, and climate change.
  • Leverage pre-existing networks for policy engagement with governments and build and maintain strong relationships with key policymakers.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance relationships with key decision-makers and agencies on policy and regulatory developments, and play a driving role in influencing them both as part of industry consortia and Intel plans.
  • Partner and collaborate with other Government Affairs team members on government engagement strategies, advocacy activities, and high-level meetings with key stakeholders to advance Intel's Manufacturing and Sustainability policy priorities.
  • Represent Intel in relevant trade associations, industry groups, and coalitions in the US and other jurisdictions, as appropriate.
  • Proactively keep Intel management and internal stakeholders abreast of any policy changes or activities, to ensure alignment with emerging government laws, regulations, and standards.
Qualifications:
  • Deep subject matter expertise in environmental and climate policy.
  • Extensive experience in policy advocacy.
  • Proven track record of leading and influencing regulatory and policy processes.
  • Strong relationship-builder with the ability to effectively engage and influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a sense of humor, working effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Washington DC: $162,600.00-$284, Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

Work Model for this Role: This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
