Job Description

Develop and manage a client base to meet sales goals for facades building and construction solutions at Wells Concrete. Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure positive experiences and successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business development and sales efforts to identify market opportunities for facades building solutions.
  • Lead design-build preconstruction efforts for facade projects, including facilitating meetings and evaluating value engineering opportunities.
  • Create and manage budgets and schedules, and analyze building systems to find the best value solution.
  • Assist in establishing strategic plans, sales targets, and competitive analyses.
  • Negotiate business and legal provisions of construction contracts.
  • Lead the transition of the preconstruction and sales process to construction execution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
  • Five years of construction sales experience or related sales or business development expertise.
  • Travel expectation 40-50%.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction means and methods, building types, estimating, scheduling, cost control, and material pricing.
  • Proven successful management of sales with a profitable book of work in the building industry.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to lead a team.
  • Ability to persuade and influence others, and organize and establish priorities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and other computer software.

  • General office environment with minimal risk of exposure to unusual elements.
  • Intermittent field/jobsite visits may require safety precautions.
