Business Development Specialist

At Intertape Polymer Group (IPG), we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our market presence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the market and application expert for assigned products, providing solutions to customers and driving revenue growth.
  • Prospect and qualify new business opportunities, working closely with Territory Managers and Director of Sales to meet revenue and net CM$ goals.
  • Support Distributor Sales Reps in closing business and converting distributors to IPG products.
  • Manage the sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful implementation.
  • Partner with distributors to identify complex end-user opportunities and provide solutions as directed by management.
  • Train Distributor Sales Reps on IPG products, features, and application solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum 2 years of business development or sales experience in a related field, preferably in industrial or packaging sales.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently or in a team setting.
  • Ability to travel independently by air or vehicle.
