Join Our Team as a Full-Time Admissions RN

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Admissions RN to join our team at ChristianaCare HomeHealth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing and documenting clinical assessments of patients at the time of admission, with no revisits or med/surg evaluations.

About the Role:

  • Precept other nurses who are taking on some admission duties.
  • Initiates and participates in team meetings and/or independently collaborates in interdisciplinary discussions regarding patient care or practice.
  • Enhances professional growth by staying current in clinical practice, incorporating research into practice, and participating in councils/committees/task forces.

Requirements:

  • BSN required; ADN candidates are required to acquire their Bachelors of Science, Nursing Degree (BSN), within three (3) years of their start date as outlined in the Education Agreement required to be signed as a condition of employment.
  • 2.5 years of Recent Skilled Adult Home Health experience required; must include OASIS documentation experience.
  • OASIS proficiency required; acquire OASIS certification within 18 months of start date.
  • IV proficient or willing to train, and achieve proficiency within 3 months of start date.
