Position Overview:

This role is pivotal in orchestrating and anticipating inventory requirements and acquisitions on a global scale. The individual will play an essential role within our Planning and Purchasing divisions to bolster our ongoing expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, evaluate, report, and monitor long-term supply strategies and acquisitions for both domestic and international markets encompassing all literature, kits, packaging, and tangible goods.
  • Deliver continuous supply forecasts to key suppliers, assessing vendor capabilities to enhance long-term reliability.
  • Oversee SKU transitions within the ERP system for all revised finished and unfinished goods, aiming to reduce obsolescence.
  • Serve as a liaison with business communications and international divisions, assessing transition schedules and inventory necessities.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing department to evaluate optimal packaging strategies, analyzing sales and forecasts to determine the most effective packaging, and suggesting modifications as needed.
  • Review timelines with procurement and logistics teams to refine inventory strategies.
  • Ensure that ERP protocols are established and adhered to, maintaining data accuracy in existing systems.
  • Assist in the development, monitoring, and enhancement of supply planning KPIs.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an operational setting.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, operations management, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • An advanced degree is preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical and written communication skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • A solid understanding of MRP and other supply chain functions and best practices, with the capability to apply these concepts effectively.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work towards and achieve specified deadlines.
