About the Role

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team of diagnostic imaging professionals. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care and Preparation
    • Screen patients before exams to identify any precautions or contraindications
    • Explain MRI procedures to patients, ensuring they understand the process and their role
    • Position patients correctly for optimal image quality
  • MRI Procedure Execution
    • Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision
    • Adjust scan parameters as needed to ensure accurate results
    • Provide patient support and comfort throughout the procedure
  • Record Keeping and Quality Assurance
    • Maintain accurate patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS)
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
    • Participate in quality assurance initiatives to maintain high standards
Additional Responsibilities
  • Assist with maintaining updated imaging protocol manuals and software upgrades
  • Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as needed
  • Support training of new associates and provide technical expertise
