Retail Service Specialist
Job Overview
This role serves as the primary point of contact for Member Services within a branch. Responsibilities include providing DMV and Notary services to meet member needs. Additionally, this position supports branch operations at the reception area, assisting with member check-in and distributing travel materials such as maps and tour books.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver DMV registration services to members while ensuring compliance with current DMV regulations.
- Assist at the reception desk, facilitating member check-in and providing travel-related resources.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling based on members' needs and enhance member relationships by promoting a variety of products and services, including automotive and financial offerings.
- Process Notary transactions in accordance with National Notary Association standards and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Notary practices.
- Prepare TripTiks, International Driving Permits (IDPs), and process passport photos for members.
- Book hotel and car reservations, as well as domestic travel packages, while also selling Mexico insurance.
- Perform administrative tasks for the branch, such as balancing cash drawers, filing receipts, and processing membership payments.
- Manage membership upgrades and changes, ensuring members are informed of higher-value options.
- Address ERS complaints and provide support materials to enhance member experience.
- Contribute to corporate initiatives aimed at improving membership retention, including collecting valid email addresses and supporting various programs.
- Efficiently process Travel, Automotive, and Cashiering transactions.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy in DMV functions and ensure compliance with club member relations policies.

Qualifications
- High School GED required.
- 1-3 years of customer service experience preferred.
- Moderate knowledge of Auto Club products and services, particularly in travel counseling and routing.
- Advanced understanding of DMV rules and regulations preferred.
- Proficiency in operating branch equipment and general computer skills required.
- Notary Public certification from the National Notary Association within one year is required.

Compensation and Benefits
The starting pay range for this position is $24.27. Full-time employees may also participate in an incentive program based on performance.
