We are seeking a highly skilled Senior National Account Manager to join our team at Georgia-Pacific. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing our business with Dollar General, a leading retailer in the consumer goods industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Business Growth: Develop and execute strategies to drive annual growth against key performance metrics, including net revenue, net income, and market share.
  • Strengthen Customer Relationships: Foster strong relationships with the Dollar General buying team and category partners to create long-term value and drive business growth.
  • Develop Joint Business Plans: Collaborate with internal teams to develop highly effective and profitable joint business plans that meet the needs of both Georgia-Pacific and Dollar General.
  • Lead Category Meetings: Lead agenda and content development for Dollar General buyer meetings and internal category meetings to ensure alignment and drive business growth.
  • Account Planning: Develop and execute account plans that meet the needs of Dollar General and drive business growth, including identifying customer-specific marketing opportunities and developing merchandising plans.
  • Trade Strategy and Management: Understand and effectively manage trade strategy and programs to deliver profitable sales and apply economic thinking to drive business growth.
  • Internal Systems Management: Effectively manage internal systems and collaborate with the Senior Sales Analyst to deliver accurate volume and trade forecasts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or 4 Years of Sales Experience: A bachelor's degree or 4 years of sales experience in the consumer products industry.
  • Consumer Products Industry Experience: At least 5 years of trade marketing, sales, merchant/buyer, and/or customer investment experience within the CPG industry.
  • Microsoft Office Experience: Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPG and Paper Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the CPG and paper industries, including market trends and competitor analysis.
  • Business Development and Capability Building: Experience with business development and capability building skills, including identifying opportunities for growth and developing strategies to drive business growth.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Insights and data-driven approach to business planning and value propositions, including the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Trade Management and Financial Acumen: Experience in trade management and financial acumen, including the ability to manage trade strategy and programs to deliver profitable sales.
  • Dollar General and Dollar Channel Experience: At least 3 years of experience with Dollar General and/or the dollar channel.
