Event Sponsorships Manager

Job Summary

The Event Sponsorships Manager will support the Director of Event Sponsorships and the Sales & Marketing teams in managing sponsor relationships and event marketing initiatives. This role will provide administrative support across the event marketing team as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director of Event Sponsorships in responding to presale requests and sponsorship acquisition efforts.
  • Coordinate and manage all activations for advertising partners and sponsors, including pre-event logistical and operational details, as well as onsite event management.
  • Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing teams to develop event marketing proposals and respond to requests for proposals (RFPs).
  • Work with the event marketing team to integrate sponsors into various events.
Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in event marketing, sponsorship management, or special events, preferably at a media company.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, communications, or a related field.
Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient writing skills, with an understanding of marketing principles.
  • Effective project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively as a team member.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends and travel when needed.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to take initiative and effectively work independently.
  • Self-motivated, confident, and creative.

Pay Range
Salary: New York: $62,400.00 - $70,000.00

The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith's total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
