Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Communication: Respond to patient calls and inquiries in a timely and professional manner, providing clear and concise information to ensure a positive patient experience.
  • Triaging and Scheduling: Accurately triage patient calls and physician messages, utilizing EMR and other messaging software to ensure effective communication between the physician team and patients.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Register and schedule patient appointments as needed, supporting matrix partners, patient requests, and physician requests.
  • Prescription Refills and Authorizations: Obtain prescription refill requests and triage to the appropriate physician team for processing.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete forms, such as TDI and FMLA forms, and work and school notes, as required.
  • EMR and Software Utilization: Utilize Centricity and Exscribe EMR to support patient care and maintain accurate records.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with the Patient Support Manager to ensure all goals are met, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Abilities: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with shifts assigned in advance. No overnight travel is expected for this position.
