Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with patient care, including controlling patient flow, obtaining and documenting necessary history and vital signs, and performing assigned procedures.
  • Provide patient education and support to ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
  • Follow OSHA regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of a Medical Assistant program or one year of experience in a medical setting preferred.
  • National certification as a Medical Assistant is a plus.
  • Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions

Work is performed in a clinical environment with potential exposure to communicable diseases, medicinal preparations, and hazardous materials. Frequent contact with patients and may be stressful at times.
