As a Shuttle Driver for Transdev, you will be responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation through the Pierce Transit Shuttle ADA service. Your role will involve connecting individuals to essential services such as employment, healthcare, and education. Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate various shuttle or company vehicles within a designated service area according to a set schedule.
  • Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections as required.
  • Familiarize yourself with the demographics of the service area.
  • Pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations.
  • Assist passengers with mobility aids and ensure their safety during transport.
  • Report any incidents, mechanical issues, or passenger concerns to dispatch.
  • Ensure fare collection and provide information to passengers regarding service rules.
  • Complete necessary documentation related to passenger transport and incidents.
  • Utilize on-board technology, including fare boxes and destination displays.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service consistently.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license with a minimum of three years of driving experience.
  • Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
  • Subject to DOT drug testing regulations.
  • DOT medical card required (exam fee covered by the company).
