Key Responsibilities:

  • Specific duties may include:
    • Hand folding printed materials
    • Counting and bundling printed items
    • Applying Velcro strips to printed materials
    • Hand inserting or collating printed materials
    • Occasionally operating various production machinery such as shrink wrappers, L-Bars, and Collators.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Must consistently arrive at work on time.
  • Strong verbal, written, and listening skills are essential; ability to adhere to safety, security, and quality protocols, as well as to comprehend and follow standard operating procedures and supervisory directions.
  • Proactively identify issues and communicate promptly with management regarding production, safety, or injury matters.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to fulfill departmental objectives.
  • Utilize self-management abilities to plan, organize, and prioritize work tasks efficiently.
  • Possess interpersonal skills to maintain positive relationships with colleagues and respond constructively to instructions and procedures.

Physical Requirements:

The role involves regularly lifting up to 10 pounds, frequently lifting up to 20 pounds, and occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds. Employees are expected to stand or sit throughout their shifts, walk, reach with hands and arms, lift, twist, and crouch as needed. Frequent communication is required, and employees must use their hands and fingers to handle printed materials, assemble, collate, count, or bundle items, as well as lift, carry, push, and pull boxes of printed materials.

The work environment is an industrial manufacturing setting with noise levels ranging from 55-75 decibels. Hearing protection is provided.
